Colonized in the early 17th century, Île d'Orléans is filled with wineries, cidreries, and farms growing fruits and vegetables for Québec City restaurants and markets. There are lavender fields, museums, and a variety of casse-croûte and restaurants. It's a foodie's paradise and a quiet getaway destination.
